Bautechnik (M.Ed., Kombi) at Bergische Universität Wuppertal is a four-semester Master of Education programme building on the bachelor's programme Bautechnik B.A. (Kombi). It is designed for students who wish to teach building technology (Bautechnik) at vocational colleges (Berufskollegs). As a combined teacher-training degree, a second subject must be studied alongside Bautechnik, with specific subjects and combinations available for the vocational college teaching qualification; the subject combination chosen in the bachelor's programme is continued in the master's. The programme starts in both winter and summer semesters, is admission-free (no NC), and requires a completed higher-education degree plus subject-specific access requirements. Studies are governed by the general examination regulations of the teaching qualification as well as subject-specific provisions for the respective school type, with practice elements and school-based experience integrated into the curriculum.
