Chemietechnik (M.Ed., Kombi) at Bergische Universität Wuppertal is a four-semester Master of Education programme building on the bachelor's programmes Chemie B.A. (Kombi) or Angewandte Naturwissenschaften B.Sc. with a chemistry focus. It prepares students to teach chemical engineering (Chemietechnik) at vocational colleges (Berufskollegs). Alongside Chemietechnik, students choose a second subject, with specific subjects and combinations available for the vocational college teaching qualification, continuing the combination selected in the bachelor's programme. The subject can also be studied within the Dual Master of Education for vocational colleges, which links academic study more closely with school practice. The programme starts in both winter and summer semesters, is admission-free (no NC), and requires a completed university degree plus general and subject-specific access requirements, with the study structure defined by the general and subject-specific examination regulations.
