T he postgraduate study program of Tourism is interdisciplinary and looks upon the phenomena of tourism from socio-cultural, economic and business, environmental, science and research perspectives. Students develop the ability to shape new concepts and models of tourism, tourism products and services development. It offers the possibility to choose between two directions : businessorganizational or social-environmental. Students are given the opportunity to conduct researches in tourism individually. Graduates of the Tourism program can work as managers in tourism economy in private or public sectors. The Master's programme Tourism is carried out in Slovenian language as a full-time or part-time study programme in Portorož. Method of Study: Conditions for enrolment: A first-cycle degree in one of the following fields: tourism, personal services, social sciences, business and administrative sciences, law, humanities, journalism and information, healthcare, social work, transport services, environmental protection. At Turistica, we have been educating young professionals in tourism and related fields for 30 years. We are part of a broad international network of educational institutions, offering students numerous opportunities for knowledge exchange, travel, and research around the world. The study programme is designed to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical experience throughout the course of study. As of the 2022/2023 academic year, the programme has been updated. Our specialised postgraduate courses are now supported by the latest research and professional findings in the field.
